Impact of PREX-II and Combined Radio/NICER/XMM-Newton’s Mass–radius Measurement of PSR J0740+6620 on the Dense-matter Equation of State

In this paper, we discuss the impact of following laboratory experiments and astrophysical observation neutron stars (NSs) on their equation state (EoS): (a) new measurement skin thickness 208Pb, fm by PREX-II experiment; (b) mass PSR J0740+6620 has been slightly revised down including additional ?1.5 yr pulsar timing data. As well as radius joint NICER/XMM-Newton collaboration, which a similar size to J0030+0451. We combine information using Bayesian statistics along with previous LIGO/Virgo NICER observations NS hybrid nuclear+piecewise-polytrope EoS parameterization. Our findings are follows. (a). Adding result yields value empirical parameter MeV, fm, 1.4 M? ( km at 1? confidence interval. find these inferred values mostly dominated combined uncertainty in is much broader. Also, better might have small effect low-mass NSs but, for high masses, there will be almost no effect. After adding J0740+6620, radii pushed toward larger 2.08 moderately improved.
